What is PTG?
PTG stands for Parent-Teacher Guild. The mission of the PTG is help build and promote a school community of faith by supporting our teachers and staff, funding programs, providing activities for our children, and encouraging communication between parents and staff of Blessed Trinity Academy and Blessed Trinity Academy Early Childhood Center.
Who can join PTG?
ANYONE WHO HAS CHILDREN AT BTA or IS A TEACHER THERE. Whether this is your last child in BTA or your first, we need your help. In order to make the events successful we need a crew of volunteers to help organize and plan. Without your help, we will not be able to do all of the fun things we have planned.
What events are PTG involved?
PTG helps put together events like the Scholastic Book Fair, the Craft & Vendor Show, Breakfast with Santa, SantaLand, the Sweetheart Dance, Family Fun Nights and Teacher Appreciation lunches.
What do the funds go toward?
All PTG monies help benefit the students and teachers! PTG is focusing this year on renovating the library, funding buses for field trips, school assemblies, while providing funds for kindergarten graduation, 8th grade graduation, and the 2nd grade Communion retreat. We also provide funds to register for the Forensics tournaments, science fairs, and the end of the year field day.
When will PTG meet?
PTG plans to meet monthly, the 2nd Wednesday of the month, and all parents and teachers are welcome to attend.
Please email [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering at a PTG event or if you would like more information.
