Blessed Trinity Academy is a place where all students are encouraged to grow in their faith. The foundation is set with daily religion classes where students dig into the works of Jesus. Daily prayer is a part of our students lives with opportunities to pray before, during, and at the end of the day. All students participate in weekly mass where our students take pride in leading our services. Each week one class from 8th grade down to 1st grade is responsible for the readings, gift presentation, and being ushers. Our students are also the altar servers, cantors, and are children's choir provides the music. Our 8th grade students sit with their Bulldog Buddies in kindergarten at mass which allows them to model appropriate behavior and teach them the different parts of the mass.
In addition, during the Lenten season our students participate in weekly Stations of the Cross on Friday afternoons The Stations of the Cross are led by our Middle School students and allow solemn reflection during the Lenten season.
Sacrament preparation of fundamental parts of 2nd and 8th grade years. Our second grade class goes through rigorous preparation for both the Sacrament of Reconcilliation and for First Holy Communion. They participate in two retreats throughout the year and spend their year learning about all parts of the mass and the meaning behind receiving the Eucharist. Throughout the year they practice with the unblessed host to prepare. For our 8th grade students, they spend the year preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Part of that preparation involves participating in the meeting regularly with Father Tim, the administrator of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.
